A current member of the Groundlings Sunday Company, Henry Watkins was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After receiving his education at Andover and Columbia University, he studied music, acting, and improvisation, absorbing lessons from such comedy luminaries as Phil Hartman, Jason Alexander, and The Groundlings as well as graduating from the Second City Conservatory. He performed with a variety of comedy troupes including the musical improv group Second City Sings and the sketch and improv companies at the ACME Comedy Theatre. As a stand-up comic, he has appeared at the Comedy Store, The Improv and many smellier comedy venues. In addition, he was a principal writer-performer on the sketch comedy pilot Slice, appeared on The Young and The Restless, Tosh.O, Man Up and once died as a guest star on Spike TV’s 1000 Ways to Die. Henry was also cast by Christopher Guest in his Census 2010 project. Last season, Henry booked American Horror Story: Asylum and had the remarkable experience of acting with Jessica Lange. All that aside, he is perhaps most recognizable as a shameless product whore. Henry has acted in more than three dozen commercials, including as a national spokesman for both Pictsweet Farms and Dish Network, where he appears 24/7 on channel 101. Oh yeah, and he was on Jeopardy. For more details, sit next to his mother on an airplane.
